Corey Branch is a Raleigh native who has represented District C on the City Council since 2015. He attended Wake County Public Schools and graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. His professional experience includes working as a senior technical director at AT&T and currently as an Associate Director at Kyndryl. Before his election, Branch was involved in various community organizations, including the Raleigh Transit Authority and WakeUp Wake County. On the council, he has served as Mayor Pro Tem and has chaired the Transportation and Transit Committee. He is married to Chandra, a teacher, and they have a daughter.
