Cornel Rasor

Cornel Rasor, an Idaho native raised on a cattle ranch, is a conservative Republican currently serving as the State Representative for District 1B, appointed in September 2024. He previously served as a Bonner County Commissioner and owned an Army surplus store in Sandpoint. Rasor is running for re-election, advocating for pro-life policies with no exceptions, robust Second Amendment rights, parental control over education, state and county land management, and reduced regulations. He believes Idaho’s natural resources are key to funding education and that property owners should direct the use of their land. He aims to uphold constitutional principles and keep Idaho "the last best place."
