Courtney Deanna Mcclain

Courtney McClain, a Spartanburg, South Carolina native, holds a bachelor's from the University of South Carolina, Columbia (2023), and a master's from Howard University. An activist, she has lobbied in the SC Legislature on women's reproductive rights, gun violence prevention, voting rights, public education, and criminal justice reform. Affiliated with the NAACP and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, she is running for Congress to bring change to District 4. Her campaign emphasizes expanding access to affordable housing, healthcare without hardship, and education free from barriers, striving for a more affordable, inclusive, and empowered future for Greenville-Spartanburg.
