Curtis Brame is a native of Vance County and has served with the Vance County Sheriff's Office for over 30 years, retiring as Patrol Captain in 2016 before being elected Sheriff in November 2018. He has held numerous positions, including deputy, sergeant, and lieutenant, and served on the Sheriff's Command Staff. His law enforcement career also includes experience as a U.S. Army military police officer and criminal investigator.
