Cyndi Howerton

Cyndi Howerton is an incumbent Republican State Representative for Kansas House District 98, serving since 2021. Raised on a farm by retired educators, she holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration and spent over two decades managing retail tax preparation offices, gaining insights into tax laws. In the legislature, she is Vice-Chair of the Water Committee and serves on Taxation, Child Welfare and Foster Care, and Legislative Modernization committees. Howerton advocates for common sense solutions, conversation over division, and good governance, prioritizing education and representing District 98, which includes parts of Wichita, Haysville, and Derby. She is a veteran's wife and volunteers with AgapeCare Cradle.
