Cynthia 'Cindy' Gagne is the current Mayor of Omak. She first took office as a Councilwoman in January 2000 and was appointed Mayor in May 2009. She has lived in the Omak area since 1963 and is a graduate of Omak High School. In 2019, Mayor Gagne was elected to the Board of Directors for the Association of Washington Cities (AWC), representing 37 cities in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan Counties.
