Cynthia Starke-Jones is a Democratic candidate for the Georgia House of Representatives, District 19, in the 2026 primary election. An educator residing in Dallas, Georgia, she has two daughters. She is a graduate of Charles L. Harper High School and holds a bachelor's degree from Georgia State University, a master's from the University of Phoenix, and a specialist's degree from Piedmont University. Her professional background includes teaching and experience in planning and budgeting for non-profit and for-profit organizations. Starke-Jones also serves as the District Director for the 9th District Georgia Parent Teacher Association. She has previously sought office, running for Paulding County Board of Commissioners in 2022 and for Paulding County Board of Education Member. Her platform includes improving student wellbeing through resource provision, decreasing property taxes, attracting businesses, and addressing broadband internet and recreational facilities in Paulding County.
