Dale Holness is a former Broward County Mayor and Commissioner who immigrated to the U.S. from Jamaica as a teenager. He is running for the U.S. House to represent Florida's 20th Congressional District in the 2026 election. A real estate broker by profession, Holness previously served as a Lauderhill City Commissioner from 2004 to 2010 before his election to the Broward County Commission, where he served as Mayor in 2019-2020.
