Dan Garner is a retired Fire Captain/Paramedic with over 30 years of experience, having retired from Spokane County Fire District 9 in February 2023. He holds associate degrees in fire science technology and advanced life support from Spokane Community College. Currently, he works part-time for the Washington Department of Natural Resources on an incident management team, teaches wildland firefighting at Spokane Community College, and volunteers as a water tender driver for Spokane County Fire District 4. This is his first time running for office.
