Dan Kapelovitz

Criminal Defense Attorney / Owner of Radical Law Center in West Hollywood, California

Dan Kapelovitz is a Certified Criminal Law Specialist who runs the Radical Law Center in West Hollywood. He earned his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University and his law degree from the UCLA School of Law, where he graduated in the top 10 of his class and was President of the Animal Law Society. His legal experience includes clerking for a federal judge, working on animal abuse cases for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Animal Protection Unit, and volunteering with the California Innocence Project. Before becoming an attorney, Kapelovitz had a career in journalism, notably as the Features Editor for Hustler Magazine. He also teaches Criminal Procedure and Evidence at the People's College of Law. Kapelovitz is also an experimental filmmaker.
