Dan Weldon is a Tampa native, attorney, and Republican candidate for Florida State House District 64. He walked on to the University of Florida football team and played linebacker for the Gators, founded a conservative student organization, and was elected statewide chairman of the College Republicans of Florida. In 2019 he was recognized at the White House for his work defending free speech on college campuses. He graduated with honors from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, began his career as a prosecutor, and now works as a litigation attorney. Dan and his wife, Theresa, live in Tampa.
