Daniel J. Ankeles is an incumbent State Representative for Maine's House District 100, a position he has held since December 2022. A Democrat, he represents Brunswick, where he resides. Ankeles earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago in 2004. Prior to his election, he served as a Democratic legislative aide for nine years and was a member of the Brunswick Town Council. In his legislative capacity, he has cosponsored bills addressing equal rights, property tax exemptions, hunger prevention, government transparency, and safe drinking water. He serves on the Environment and Natural Resources and Transportation committees. He is married with two children and is running for re-election in the 2026 Maine Primary Election.
