Danielle Dipaola is the current Mayor of Emerson, New Jersey, having held the position since January 2019. She made history as Emerson's first female mayor. A Republican, she previously served as a councilwoman for the Borough of Emerson starting in September 2010. Dipaola, who also owns Danielle's Baskets & Gifts since 1997, campaigned against overdevelopment in her mayoral run. She is an alumna of the University of Maryland at College Park.
