Danilo R. Burgos is the incumbent Representative for Pennsylvania's 197th Legislative District, first elected in 2018 [2.5]. He is the first Dominican-American elected to the Pennsylvania General Assembly. Before joining the legislature, Burgos co-founded the Dominican Grocers Association of Philadelphia and worked in local government. He served as Director of Zoning and Business Development for Councilwoman María Quiñones-Sánchez and Director of Constituent Services for Councilman Allan Domb.
