Danny Costain is a Republican politician with a background in military service and law enforcement. A graduate of Old Town High School and the Maine Criminal Justice Academy, he honorably served eight years in the United States Air Force and the Maine Air National Guard. Costain previously served as a member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 100 from December 2018 to December 2022, and subsequently District 33 from December 2022 to December 2024. He is now running for election to the Maine State Senate to represent District 3 and is on the ballot for the Republican primary on June 9, 2026. He is married to Lanci and has two children.
