Danny Earl Britt Jr.

Danny Earl Britt Jr. was born in Robeson County, North Carolina. He enlisted in the North Carolina Army National Guard after high school and currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Britt earned a bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University and a J.D. from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. His professional experience includes working as a prosecutor in the Robeson County District Attorney's Office and operating his own law firm in Lumberton, where he lives with his wife and two children. He was first elected to the North Carolina Senate in 2017, initially representing District 13 before being redistricted to District 24.
