Darren Fix is a Democratic candidate for the Montana House of Representatives District 6 in the 2026 primary election. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served from 1989 to 1993. For over 30 years, Fix has worked as a computer programmer, a profession that has instilled in him a problem-solving approach: understanding root causes, collaborating on solutions, and taking responsibility for outcomes. He aims to help a lot of people by applying this method in Helena. His community involvement includes serving as a CASA advocate for children in foster care, volunteering with hospice, and teaching children to code.
