He has an extensive background in law enforcement, including serving as an Albuquerque Police Officer, the New Mexico Secretary of the Department of Public Safety, a two-term Sheriff of Bernalillo County, and the Director of Public Safety for the City of Albuquerque. He is currently the CEO of PurLife, a cannabis company.
