Dave Paul is the incumbent State Representative for Washington's 10th Legislative District, first elected in 2019. A Democrat, he currently chairs the House Higher Education Committee and previously served as Deputy Democratic Floor Leader. With over 25 years in higher education, he taught at Skagit Valley College where he also serves as Director of Community Relations. Paul advocates for women's reproductive rights, a strong clean energy economy, investments in public safety with embedded mental health support, modernizing 911 systems for rural areas, and increased access to education, housing, and healthcare for veterans. He is seeking re-election in 2026.
