David Berg

David Berg was first elected to the Puyallup School Board in 2021. A resident of Puyallup since 2001, he and his wife raised three sons who all graduated from Puyallup High School. Prior to his election, Berg was a long-time volunteer in the district, serving as a PTA Legislative Advocacy Chair and as president of the Washington Coalition for Gifted Education from 2013-2021. He has actively advocated for education policy by testifying before state legislative committees in Olympia and meeting with members of Congress in Washington D.C.
