David Dillie

David Dillie is a Democratic candidate for Georgia State House District 161, running in the May 2026 primary. A working-class tradesman, he is an aircraft final line mechanic at Gulfstream, as well as an AWS welder, pipefitter, and plumber. Raised in a farming family, he learned service early, caring for brothers with disabilities and serving on the Foster Care Chamber of Commerce board. Dillie champions an inclusive economy with fair wages and sustainable growth through smart infrastructure. He has also pledged to support congressional term limits. He seeks to bring a practical, community-focused voice to Atlanta, advocating for trades, veterans, and Georgia families.
