David E. Sullivan has served as Northwestern District Attorney since 2011, overseeing Hampshire and Franklin counties and the town of Athol under a community-prosecution model. An attorney for more than 35 years, he began his career in 1987 as a civilian trial attorney for the U.S. Army and Air Force in West Germany, and later served as Easthampton City Attorney and Hampshire County Register of Probate. He graduated from Northeastern University School of Law and the Isenberg School of Management at UMass, received the Massachusetts Bar Foundation's President's Award in 2008, and lives in Easthampton with his family.
