David L. Fallin is a native of Martinsville, VA, and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having joined after graduating from Martinsville High School in 1985. He served in various roles, including as a U.S. Army recruiter and as the sergeant major of the Eighth Army Band in Yongsan, Korea. He deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq in support of Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and New Dawn. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Leo University in 2005. His military awards include the Bronze Star and the Meritorious Service Medal.
