David Ganezer is a publisher and former attorney running as a Republican for the U.S. House of Representatives in California's 11th Congressional District. He earned a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in Russian Studies from Stanford University, as well as a J.D. from UCLA Law School. He served in the Coast Guard Reserve from 1980 to 1986 and practiced law before becoming the publisher of the Santa Monica Observer in 1999. He previously ran for Santa Monica City Council.
