Longtime resident of Worcester and Cherry Valley, Massachusetts. His family immigrated from Vietnam in 1988, and Massachusetts has been their home since. He graduated from Doherty High School and studied at Clark University, Hillsdale College, and New England School of Law, with an education focused on public policy and leadership. He is chairman of the U.S. Cross Cultural Association, began his public-service career at the Worcester Housing Authority, and leads Boston Redevelopment Planning Inc., helping residents navigate zoning laws and municipal bureaucracy. A proud member of the Asian-American community.
