Dawn Addis is an American educator and politician serving as a member of the California State Assembly for the 30th district. First elected in 2022, she chairs the Assembly Budget Subcommittee on Health and the Select Committee on Offshore Wind Energy. Prior to her election to the state legislature, Addis served on the Morro Bay City Council from 2018 to 2022 and worked as a special education teacher in the San Luis Coastal Unified School District for 20 years.
