Outside of her political campaigns, she is a proud and active member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, alongside her daughters. Furthermore, Grant holds the position of Historian for the Prince George's County Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., a service organization dedicated to mentoring youth, supporting elders, and empowering local women.
