Dean Hachamovitch was elected to the City Council in 2021 and became Mayor Pro Tem in 2024, subsequently becoming Acting Mayor following the mayor's resignation. A Clyde Hill resident since 2001, he worked at Microsoft for 24 years, formerly as a Corporate Vice President. He co-founded The Clyde Hill Police Foundation. He received an A.B. in Mathematics from Harvard and has taken professional development courses through Wharton, Kellogg, and Harvard.
