Debbie G Buckner

Debbie G. Buckner, born March 4, 1955, in Columbus, Georgia, is a Health Educator and a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives. She has served since January 13, 2003, currently representing District 137, having previously served Districts 109 and 130. A graduate of Columbus State University and Georgia Southwestern College, she is married to Mike. Buckner is seeking re-election in the 2026 Georgia Primary Election for District 137. Her committee work includes Appropriations, Natural Resources & Environment, Retirement, Rural Development (where she serves as Secretary), State Properties, and Ways & Means.
