Denise Roberts

Denise Roberts is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Legislative District 25. Appointed to the seat in December 2023, she was officially sworn into office on January 8, 2024. A lifelong resident of Prince George's County, Roberts brings a deep understanding of her community to her legislative duties. She is a graduate of both Howard University and American University. Her professional background includes over two decades of dedicated experience in strategic communications and public relations. Before joining the House of Delegates, she held key roles as a spokesperson in the Prince George's County Executive's office and as communications director for the State's Attorney's office. In addition to her public service, Roberts is a small business owner and a recognized community advocate.
