Dennis Gleckler moved to Newman Lake in 2015 after a career with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an air traffic controller. He graduated from Greenford High School in 1968 and attended Lakeshore Technical Institute for dairy herdsmanship. He has been an active community member, running for Fire Commissioner in 2021 and formally opposing a district tax levy in 2024.
