Dennis Lenz is an incumbent Republican State Senator representing District 25 in West Billings, Montana. A fire captain and farmer by profession, he has a long legislative career, having previously served in the Montana Senate in 2023 and the House of Representatives across multiple terms (2013, 2017, 2019, 2021). He is currently the Senate Majority Whip and chairs the Public Health, Welfare and Safety Committee, also serving on Finance and Claims, and Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation committees. Lenz is running for re-election to the State Senate for District 25 in the Republican primary on June 2, 2026. His legislative efforts have included sponsoring bills related to increasing access to doula care and various resolutions.
