Derek J. Mallow is an Incumbent Georgia State Senator for District 2, representing Savannah and a portion of Chatham County. Sworn in for his second term on January 13, 2025, the Democrat also serves as Chief Deputy Whip for the Senate Democratic Caucus. He sits on committees including Children and Families, Economic Development and Tourism, and Transportation, and is Secretary of the Ethics Committee.
