Diana Emerson is a dedicated community leader and advocate for Baltimore City serving on the Democratic Central Committee for Legislative District 43A, where she holds the position of Vice Chair. A Baltimore native, she has over two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector, focusing on community building and supporting small businesses. Emerson was first appointed to the committee in 2021 and was subsequently elected for the 2023-2026 term. In addition to her local role, she serves as the Deputy Treasurer of the Maryland Democratic Party, a position she was recommended for by Governor Wes Moore. She is also the Executive Director of Emerge Maryland, an organization that trains Democratic women to run for office.
