Dianne Williams-Cox is the incumbent City Commissioner for Seat 5, having assumed office on November 19, 2018. Born and raised in Quincy, Florida, she graduated with honors from Florida A&M University with a B.S. in Data Processing Technology and earned an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. She is the owner of DWC Management Consulting Services and has served as the Direct Services Quality Assurance Manager for Voices for Florida. Her community involvement includes serving as Past President of two chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Chairman of the Capital City Chamber of Commerce, and founder of the Southside United Citizens Action Alliance. She has also been active in the Democratic Party, serving in various roles including Vice Chairman with the Leon County Democratic Executive Committee.
