Dick Marzano is a Tacoma native who worked as a longshore worker for over 52 years, serving a six-year term as president of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) Local 23. He was first elected to the Port Commission in November 1995. He has served as president of the Washington Public Ports Association and co-chair of The Northwest Seaport Alliance. He is the designated Vice President of the commission for 2025.
