Donna Bailey, an American politician and attorney, serves as a Democratic Maine State Senator for District 31, representing Saco, Old Orchard Beach, and Buxton. A graduate of Bates College and the University of Maine School of Law, she previously practiced real estate, family, and probate law. Her political career began in the Maine House in 2016 before her election to the Senate in 2020. Senator Bailey chairs the Health Coverage, Insurance, and Financial Services, and Senate Conduct and Ethics committees, and serves on Housing and Economic Development. She is running for re-election in the 2026 Democratic primary.
