Donna Tryfman

Donna Tryfman is a veteran public defender currently serving in the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Major Cases Unit. A graduate of Beverly Hills High School, she earned degrees from Brandeis University and the University of La Verne School of Law. Her career includes over three decades of courtroom experience and more than one hundred jury trials. Tryfman has also served as a judge pro tempore in traffic, small claims, and unlawful detainer cases. Her community involvement includes serving on the Beverly Hills Rent Stabilization Commission, chairing the BHUSD Facilities Committee, and volunteering with the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Judicial Elections Evaluation Committee. In 2020, she was a candidate for the Beverly Hills Unified School District Board of Education.
