Dorothy Andrews

Dorothy Andrews is a non-partisan elected official currently serving on the Board of Education for St. Mary's County Public Schools in Maryland, representing District 1. She won her election in November 2022, securing a term that runs through 2026. In her role on the Board, Andrews helps oversee a district comprising 27 schools, approximately 2,000 employees, and 16,785 students. Before entering public service, she worked as a business owner, gaining extensive experience in daily operations, bookkeeping, logistics, sales, and employee training. Additionally, Andrews has pursued certifications in Drug Counseling and Stephen Ministries.
