My name is Drew Cox, and I’m running to represent Indiana’s Fourth District in Congress. I’m a lifelong Hoosier and veteran raised by a farmer and public schoolteacher, and I’m committed to delivering the policies that serve Indiana’s residents instead of corporate interests.

Here in District 4, our elected officials have failed to represent working people. Our campaign is fighting to change that. We are putting young people and policies at the forefront of the campaign, and refusing to accept any corporate PAC donations to ensure that our interests lie entirely with the people.

  • Affordable Housing

    Supports

    One third of all American households-including half of all renters-are now considered “housing cost burdened,” meaning they spend more than 30 percent of their income on rent and mortgage payments. Drew Cox will fight to pass and establish the ROAD To Housing Act of 2025, this bill will make it easier to bypass harsh zoning laws, build cheap modular housing in high stress areas, and more. He will also co-operate with the Center for American Progress to help pass the Rent Relief for Reform (R3) to monitor housing crisis zones and provide relief for the American citizen.

  • Data Centers

    Opposes

    Drew Cox will fight to implement a federal moratorium on AI data centers, as well as regulation requiring that all data centers use green energy to power their activities. Finally, he will fight to prevent mass layoffs from automation, ensuring that whatever advancements are made in AI assist humans rather than replacing them.

  • Government Transparency & Accountability

    Supports

    Corporate money in politics has caused detrimental damage to our democracy and representation. To reinstate the American people’s public authority, Drew Cox will fight to pass the Restore Trust in Congress Act (H.R. 5106) and Ban Corporate PACs Act (H.R. 4799) banning congressional stock trading and corporate PAC intervention in American politics. As an alternative to corporate funded elections, Drew advocates for the implementation of Public Campaign Financing, a system which would require the federal government to match small dollar donations made by regular voters. Drew also has taken a pledge not to take any corporate money - his campaign is funded exclusively by the people.

  • Healthcare Access & Affordability

    Supports

    Under a for-profit healthcare system, health insurance companies are directly incentivized to maximize profit by denying as many claims as possible. Drew Cox will fight to pass the Medicare for all Act to guarantee healthcare to all Americans not as a commodity but as a human right. This must include mental healthcare and reproductive healthcare. He will also push for legislation to place stringent regulations on how much pharmaceutical companies can charge for essential medications.

  • Veterans

    Supports

    As a Marine veteran, Drew Cox will vote against authorizing any more needless, illegal wars and will fight to reign in the unilateral military action of the executive branch. He will fight to redirect significant portions of our military budget to social services, infrastructure and the repaying of our national debt. Crucially, he will also fight to make sure that the veterans we have sent abroad to fight are supported and cared for by a well funded VA.
