A former University of Northern Iowa Student Body President, he spent six years in the Iowa State Auditor’s office, leading the Public Innovations and Efficiencies (PIE) program and helping save communities millions. Stensland, a Democratic leader and community advocate, is running for Iowa House District 75. His platform prioritizes fully funding public education, repealing private school vouchers, addressing Iowa's water crisis, supporting seniors, and strengthening UNI. He aims to bring accountability and change to Iowa politics.
