Drew Stensland

Drew Stensland, a lifelong Cedar Falls resident, was raised in a union household by a firefighter and an educator, instilling values of hard work and public service. A former University of Northern Iowa Student Body President, he spent six years in the Iowa State Auditor’s office, leading the Public Innovations and Efficiencies (PIE) program and helping save communities millions. Stensland, a Democratic leader and community advocate, is running for Iowa House District 75. His platform prioritizes fully funding public education, repealing private school vouchers, addressing Iowa's water crisis, supporting seniors, and strengthening UNI. He aims to bring accountability and change to Iowa politics.
