Dustin Swartz is a native of Moses Lake, born in 1983. After graduating from Moses Lake High School in 2001, he attended Bellevue College and Central Washington University. Following his college education, he returned to his hometown to work in his family's commercial and industrial electrical contracting business. Swartz is a licensed Washington State Electrical Administrator. He has served on the council for Immanuel Lutheran Church for two terms and is the president of the Grant County Home Builders Association. He was elected Mayor of Moses Lake by the council in January 2024.
