Is this you? Claim this profileEarl McKee is a lifelong resident of Orange County, with family roots in the area dating back to the mid-1800s. He graduated from Orange County public schools and earned an Associate Degree in Agriculture from North Carolina State University. After college, he returned to his family's farm, where he manages a diversified operation including crops, cattle, and hay. McKee was first elected to the Orange County Board of Commissioners for District 2 in 2010 and was re-elected in subsequent terms. He has served as the Board's Vice-Chair and Chair. His civic involvement includes being a deacon and elder at Little River Presbyterian Church, and he was a founding member of the Caldwell Fire Department. He has also served on the Orange County Planning Board, Social Services Board, and the Triangle J Council of Governments. In addition to his farming and commissioner duties, he has worked in engineering inspections for Summit Engineering.
