He previously served as an Airborne Infantryman, a state prosecutor in Florida's 9th Judicial Circuit, and an estate and gift tax attorney for the IRS. Ford resigned from his position at the IRS in 2025 to run for Congress. His campaign platform focuses on affordable healthcare, climate action, and economic justice.
