Is this you? Claim this profileEd Marquand is a book publisher, designer, and community developer. He founded Marquand Books, a publisher of art books, and is the creative force behind Mighty Tieton, an artisan business incubator that has worked to revitalize the city of Tieton by transforming vacant fruit warehouses into spaces for creative businesses. Marquand studied art at Eastern Oregon University. His professional career began in Los Angeles in graphic art and advertising before he moved to Seattle in 1978 to start a graphic design and photography business that grew into publishing art exhibition catalogs for museums. His involvement in Tieton began serendipitously in 2005 after getting flat tires on his bicycle in the town square, which led him to see the potential in the city's empty storefronts. He currently serves on the Tieton City Council.
