Ed Stern is a candidate for Mayor of the City of Poulsbo in Poulsbo, Washington — 2025 General Election. Running as Nonpartisan.

Ed Stern has served on the Poulsbo City Council for seven consecutive terms, since 1998, and was elected Deputy Mayor in January 2024. Before moving to Poulsbo in 1986, he worked as a Special Education teacher and later as the Community Development Director for the City of Livingston, Montana. After relocating to Poulsbo, he had a career as a Financial Advisor until his retirement in 2019. Stern has been involved in various regional boards, including the Kitsap Economic Development Alliance, the Puget Sound Regional Council, and the Association of Washington Cities, where he served as president. In 2020, he was appointed by Governor Inslee to the State Public Works Board.
