He previously served as a Montana State Senator (2011-2015) for District 29 in Billings, known for fiscal conservatism and First Amendment advocacy. Walker is currently running in the Republican primary for the Montana House of Representatives, District 52, on June 2, 2026. His campaign focuses on conservative leadership, curbing bad tax policy, reducing the cost of living, protecting Montana values, and ensuring government accountability. He is also Montana State Chair for U.S. Term Limits and supports public land access. He lives in Billings with his wife, Kathleen, and they have five children and grandchildren.
