Edlira Sako is a lead teacher at Macomb Montessori Academy and a candidate for the Michigan State Senate to represent District 24. An immigrant from Albania who moved to the United States in 2012, she is a long-time resident of Clinton Township, Michigan. Sako holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Tirana, as well as a bachelor's degree from Wayne State University. She previously ran for the Macomb County Board of Commissioners in 2024.
