He served 14 years with the Florida Highway Patrol, including time on the State SWAT Team and Presidential Protection Team. Pope earned a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Walden University. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Interstate Courier Services. Pope is a married father of five.
