Eileen Swarthout

Eileen Swarthout was first appointed to the Tumwater City Council in 2014 and has been subsequently re-elected. A 25-year resident of Tumwater, she has a background in public administration, holding a bachelor's degree in the field. Her professional experience includes working at the state Department of Health. Swarthout has a history of volunteer service, including with the Tumwater Hill PTO and the board for Ballet Northwest. She serves as the Chair of the Public Works Committee and is a member of the Budget & Finance Committee.
